Role & Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will have experience managing medical education programs across multiple formats and be comfortable communicating directly with faculty, vendors, partners, and internal teams.

Responsibilities include:

  • Direct and manage logistics for live and virtual educational programs, including regional meetings, satellite symposia, webinars, and other events
  • Oversee venue research, vendor management, contracting, and faculty logistics
  • Manage enduring educational activities such as webcasts, monographs, podcasts, and other digital programs
  • Develop and execute marketing plans for educational activities, including researching distribution channels, identifying and managing vendors, and monitoring program performance
  • Create and manage project timelines while coordinating with internal staff and external resources to keep programs on schedule
  • Manage relationships with faculty, medical societies, distribution partners, vendors, and other external resources
  • Monitor grant systems and fulfill status-reporting and post-submission requirements in collaboration with other team members
  • Monitor project budgets and complete project reconciliations
  • Prepare and maintain documentation required for accreditation and certification of educational activities in accordance with ACCME and other accrediting-body requirements
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure programs are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with applicable accreditation standards

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field
  • 3+ years of project management experience
  • At least 1 year of experience managing CME/CE programs required
  • Experience managing live, virtual, and/or enduring medical education activities
  • Strong organizational and project-management skills with the ability to manage multiple programs and deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively with faculty, vendors, partners, and cross-functional internal teams
  • Strong attention to detail and comfort working within accreditation and grant-related requirements
