Job Description:

Our client is a leader in digital medical education, delivering trusted, evidence-based content for healthcare providers, patients, and caregivers. The organization works with leading medical societies, advocacy organizations, and centers of excellence across oncology, neurology, rare disease, and other complex therapeutic areas.

The Director, Partnerships will manage and expand strategic relationships across a network of more than 175 advocacy organizations, professional societies, and healthcare partners. This role combines strategic account management, partnership development, business development, and cross-functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and grow relationships with assigned strategic partners
  • Develop annual partnership plans and long-term growth strategies
  • Lead strategic meetings with partners at conferences, association meetings, and industry events
  • Identify opportunities to expand existing partnerships and establish new collaborations
  • Research and engage advocacy organizations, professional societies, associations, and other healthcare partners
  • Develop business cases for new partnerships and revenue-generating opportunities
  • Collaborate with Business Development, Marketing, Medical, Program Management, and Technology teams
  • Lead cross-functional planning for strategic partners and ensure partner priorities are reflected in programs and initiatives
  • Guide partnership-related content and communications strategies
  • Develop and improve partnership processes, resources, and best practices

Ideal Candidate

  • Strong experience managing strategic partnerships and complex stakeholder relationships
  • Ability to combine relationship management, strategy, business development, and execution
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration and communication skills
  • Experience with professional societies, healthcare associations, advocacy organizations, medical education organizations, or other healthcare industry partners is highly desirable
  • Comfortable managing multiple strategic accounts and identifying opportunities for long-term partnership growth
