Our client develops customized education and training programs for pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies across the product launch continuum. Their programs combine scientific content, skills development, and sustainment strategies to help commercial teams successfully bring innovative therapies to market.

The company is seeking a Project Manager or Senior Project Manager to lead the execution of client training initiatives in a remote environment. This role partners closely with Learning Strategists, Learning Designers, writers, creative teams, and clients to manage timelines, budgets, deliverables, approvals, and day-to-day project execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary client contact for the day-to-day management of assigned projects
• Develop and manage project plans, timelines, milestones, and resource requirements
• Coordinate project activities across internal teams, external partners, and client stakeholders
• Create budgets, track monthly accruals, manage invoices, and monitor overall project financial performance
• Manage project revenue of approximately $1.0M–$1.3M for Project Managers and $1.4M–$1.6M for Senior Project Managers
• Oversee deliverables across content, editorial, graphic design, and digital development teams
• Conduct quality assurance and testing to ensure deliverables are accurate and client-ready
• Manage submission of materials through client Medical, Legal, and Regulatory review processes and platforms
• Track project status, action items, decisions, and next steps through clear and timely client and internal communications
• Identify project risks, anticipate potential delays, and develop solutions to keep programs on schedule
• Translate client feedback and discussions into actionable direction for internal teams
• Identify and coordinate appropriate writers and external resources as needed
• Support new business opportunities by managing proposal and presentation deliverables
• Lead execution of live and virtual training meetings as needed

Client & Strategic Responsibilities

• Build strong relationships with clients and internal teams through clear, proactive, and professional communication
• Provide meaningful direction and feedback throughout project development
• Identify opportunities to improve project processes, efficiencies, and training solutions
• Collaborate with Learning Strategy and Design teams to ensure solutions align with instructional design principles, client objectives, and project budgets
• Proactively address project challenges and recommend solutions

Qualifications

• Project Manager: 2–5 years of project management experience in pharmaceutical/life sciences sales training
• Senior Project Manager: 6+ years of relevant project management experience
• Experience within a life sciences training agency strongly preferred
• Experience managing pharmaceutical sales training and digital interactive learning programs
• Strong experience with Veeva Vault or similar MLR/content-management platforms
• Proficiency with Smartsheet, Microsoft Project, or similar project-management tools
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat Pro
• Strong budgeting, invoicing, timeline, and project-management skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent client communication, problem-solving, organizational, and interpersonal skills
• CAPM or PMP certification is a plus
• Ability to travel to client meetings and training events as needed, including occasional multi-day travel
